Model Signatures for the Integration of Simulation Models into System Models

Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) is an auspicious approach to the virtual development of cyber-physical systems. The behavior system’s elements thus represented by specialized simulation models that are integrated into descriptive SysML-based system model. Although many have been developed in research for common various purposes and fidelities, their integration remains a major challenge: parameter interfaces must be coupled with each other parameters such way they correctly parameterized. So far, this coupling can only carried out model experts time-consuming error-prone manner. Therefore, paper, we first propose concept structures element targeted use validation design cases. Second, signature differentiates its input, internal, output, specifies them spatial temporal dimensions as well admissible ranges, among others. Based on two contributions, domain validly automatable used model-based engineering.
